Reflection #2

I went to Chinook Middle School today for observations and I noticed how in every class I was in there were at least three computers. One computer was in the form of a lap top the teachers received from the school for their lesson planning and to update grades. The second computer was usually at the front of the classroom to use along with the SmartBoard. The last computer was used for teachers to use during school hours if they wanted to leave their school lap top at home.

Every room was filled with technology. I remember in middle school how some classes didn't have a TV in the room so the teacher had to borrow the school TV that was brought into the classroom on the days that we needed it on a cart with wheels (for easy mobility) <-- which shows how many teachers needed it. Now, there are TVs in every room.

  1. I totally remember that as a student. Teachers had to reserve the TV's if they wanted to use them in their classroom, and now every school that I have observed in, there has been a TV. Furthermore, if I am recalling correctly some of my teachers even had to reserve overheads. Now mostly all schools replaced overheads with projectors. It is crazy to see what projectors will be replaced with twenty years down the road!
